What is Procrastination?

Procrastination as defined by Dictionary.com is the act or habit of procrastinating, or putting off or delaying, especially something requiring immediate attention.
To procrastinate is to avoid doing something that needs to be done, maybe because it seems unpleasant or boring at that particular time, day or year(whichever applies to you). 
Abraham Lincoln had this to say about procrastination "Things may come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle." without doubt it plays out nicely that the statement is true, having to leave something undone for a while would make you miss an opportunity that required a knowledge on that.

  2. Use the 20/80 rule
  3. Reward yourself anytime you complete a task or action
  4. Promise others
  5. Begin immediately, start a task or work on a major task first thing each morning before checking your Email, WhatsApp, Facebook, Cellphone or other messages.
  6. Apply the Swiss Cheese technique, that is pick one small part of a large task and do it.
  7. Salami-Slice the task, tackle small bits at a time.
  8. Focus on each task. 

In Conclusion, Whenever you have  not planned out your task and organized it by sequence and priority, you are often unsure of what to do first, and as a result you do nothing at all.
